With most of the schools in NCR having closed their registration process, many parents are harassed a lot. Most of the schools in the NCR region had kept the form selling dates just confined to two or three days making it difficult for the parents to apply in enough number of schools.
Although most of the schools had made their forms available Online like Amity International School etc., there have been a plenty in the lot who neither had made their forms available online nor had they kept the forms selling dates broad enough to give the parents adequate time to visit the schools and purchase the forms over-the-counter.
With most parents working in a typical 9-5 job, these strict deadlines have drawn slack from all quarters. Neither could they find the dates easily for the school of their choice nor could they have ample time to visit the school and purchase the registration forms. For example, in Shri Ram School, Gurgaon, the dates for collection of forms are only for two days from 22nd Oct to 24th Oct and that too when it does not have the facility for online registration.
Unlike Delhi, the schools in the NCR region do not follow a set pattern of admission or a common admission process, as directed by the Directorate Of Education (DoE) for Delhi schools. Thus, where one school could be having a formal interview procedure, the other could not have any such process and just hold an informal session with both parent and the kid. All these factors have increased the anxiety of the parents who are shunting between schools for their wards’ admission.
