Happy New Year 2013

New Year, as the name suggests, marks the end of one year and the beginning of a new and fresh year. New Year is believed to bring along with it new hopes and aspirations for every individual. New Years’ time is nothing less than a festival, which is celebrated by one and all with fun and fervour. However, the origin of New Year dates back to the era of emperors, wherein the emperors had thought of celebrating a special day which should mark a day for beginning and end of the year. Interestingly, the first New Year celebration was observed in Mesopotamia, around 2000 years ago. The New Year celebrations differ from place to place and religion to religion, across the world. This is so, because people across the world follow different calendars.
