Navratri Festival 2010

Navaratri or Navarathri or Navdurga is Hindu festival for worshipping Devi/Shakti during these nine nights and ten days. Navaratri nine-festive days dedicated to Goddess Durga. During the nine days of Navratri there is a custom of wearing different colour dress – Sarees (Sari) and Churidhar – mainly in Gujarat and Maharashtra. Durga Navratri 2010 start is 8 October 2010 to 17 October 2010.

Nine Colours of Navratri 2010: (The nine Navratri colors for 2010 published on local newspapers on October 6, 2010) they are:
